Daasebre Gyamenah Is Died

 Daasebre Gyamenah Is Died

Information available to Pluzz fm indicates that contemporary High-Life music legend, Daasebre Gyamenah has died at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra early Friday morning.

A close family member disclosed to Pluzz fm.

The award winning artist according to the family was battling with some illness but couldn’t survive in the early hours of Friday.

Family members who confirmed the unfortunate incident said his condition was critical Thursday dawn and was found unconscious.

Biography of Daasebre Gyamenah

MANY are those who know ace highlife singer, Daasebre Gyamenah as “Ahoofe”, a name his fans gave him after the release of his hit song, “Ahoofe”, which literally means beautiful or the handsome one.

One other name that the singer has in his “portmanteau” that many of his fans may not know is Abubakar Siddiq.

Daasebre is a Muslim, and Abubakar Siddiq is his Islamic name.

“Daasebre was born into Islam. His late mother was a Muslim, who died when Daasebre was only five years old.

Daasebre was christened as Kojo Gyamenah and as a royal, he later added “Daasebre” to distinguish himself from others with the same name.

Later on in his life, he adopted the Islamic name in line with his faith.

“As a man of the people, Daasebre does not see why Christians and Muslims should be at each other’s throat over doctrinal differences.

And that is why he has separated his work from his religion to enable him to preach peace and morality to people from different religious backgrounds.

Daasebre was preparing to release a gospel album to underscore his love for God and also thank the Almighty for seeing him through the difficult times he faced in the London jail.JAH DECIDE Muzic sends our deepest condolence to his family, we have lost another great talent of our own. May his soul rest in peace

DKB! DKB!!DKB!! THE COMEDIAN With the language swagg..                                JAH DECIDE MUZIC...  We give you THE latest Entertainment news and more....

DKB CROWN BEST COMEDIAN IN GHANA !!

Ghana’s acclaimed 'King of Comedy' Kweku Sintim Misa (KSM) has handed over the title to the young and celebrated Ghanaian comedian, DKB.

"When I see DKB he says KSM you are the man and I say no, I was the man. Now you are the man. I am very proud of him, so it is my pleasure and my duty to introduce to you the new King of Comedy DKB," KSM announced over the weekend at the National Theater in Accra.

KSM made the comment while welcoming DKB to the stage during the rib-cracking comedy show, 'Point of View' organized by Ecstasy Entertainment.

DKB was the main artiste for the event and his act was 'opened' by KSM. "I am here today and I'm very happy for these young guys (comedians). Show them some love. They have taken GH comedy to a new level and I am extremely proud of them. I hosted DKB some time ago on my show and I said DKB, one day you are going to get there and I am going to open for you. He thought I was lying, so when he talked about this show, I was like no problem, I will be there and I will open it for you. That is why I am here today," KSM explained.

After his introduction by KSM, DKB was carried onto stage in a palanquin while other young comedians, who followed danced and hailed him to signify his new status as the current King of Ghana comedy.

The 'Point of View' comedy show held last Saturday would go down in history as one of the most successful shows in Ghana in recent times. DKB's performance lasted for about an hour and his pronouncements were greeted with laughter from the audience.

Before he started, he told the audience that the show was named Point Of View because he was going to give his views on some happenings across the world. He then started with jokes about how Ghanaians love free tickets.

According to him, he was certain on judgment day if Ghanaians were told going to heaven will cost ?5 and hell free of charge, they would settle for hell. He also made jokes about America and guns, laws on homosexuality in Africa and America, UK Visa acquisition and its fees, Indians and their head gesturing, Ghanaian politicians, police personnel and bribe-taking, Ghanaian musicians and many more.

"They said we were not funny but here we are. So now I want to tell you something, God made no mistake in making KSM, who is the godfather of comedy, to call me the new king of comedy," he said,

He subsequently dropped his microphone on the floor to climax his performance for the night.

Other comedians who performed at the event were James Brown, Khemical, Foster, Jacinta, Ajeezay De Non-faKing, Hogan, among others.

The audience's reaction forced comedian Mark Don to leave the stage because they could not understand his jokes although he appeared very funny and drew laughter anyway.

Mark Don's spectacularly shining shoes became a subject of discussion after he left the stage.

The show was not only about comedy, as two of Ghana's finest musicians, reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year, E.L and Edem took turns to entertain the audience with music from their respective repertoire. Edem was the first to perform.

He was followed by E.L, who many thought would comment on the speculated 'lyrical war' between himself and Sarkodie. He did none of that, he only entertained the crowd who cheered and danced.

He started with "Koko" and signed out with "Mi Naa Bo Po."

Good morning folks. Its has been a fruitful journey with music and life....

MUSIC !!

People keep asking Who is Musician? what can i gain from Music?  Does Music really pays? .

What will be the answer to this questions. Before we gets some answers, lets dive a little in to the meaning of Music. Music is an Art form and cultural activity whose medium is sound and silence. The common elements of music are pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the "color" of a musical sound). Different style or type of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and with vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping, and there are solely instrumental pieces, solely vocal pieces (such as songs without instrumental accompaniments) and pieces that combine singing and instruments. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "art of the Muses"). In its most general form, the activities describing music as an art form include the production of works of music (songs, tunes, symphonies, and so on), the criticism of music, the study of the history of music, and the aesthetic examination of music. Ancient Greek and Indian philosophers defined music as tones ordered horizontally as melodies and vertically as harmonies. Common sayings such as "the harmony of the spheres" and "it is music to my ears" point to the notion that music is often ordered and pleasant to listen to.The creation, performance, significance, and even the definition of music vary according to culture and social context.
Music can be divided into genres (e.g., pop music) and genres can be further divided into sub-genres (e.g., hip-hop and afro-pop are two of the many pop sub-genres), although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to personal interpretation, and occasionally controversial. Within the arts, music may be classified as performing art, a fine art or as an auditory art. Music may be played or sung and heard live at a rock concert or orchestra performance, heard live as part of a dramatic work (a music theater show or opera), or it may be recorded and listened to on a radio,MP3 player, CD play, Smartphones or as film scores or TV shows.
1.Who is a Musician? A musician (or instrumentalist) is a person who plays a musical instrument or is musically talented. Anyone who composes, conducts, or performs music may also be referred to as a musician. Musicians can specialize in any musical style, and some musicians play in a variety of different styles. A musician in Ghana is usually refers to some one who performs on stage with microphone, but remember the composer, the instrumentalist, the singer, the engineer in the studio and any person who contributed in making the song is also a musician and has right to the song.
A musician will spend a significant amount of time learning and practicing so as to become known within the music world, or to play in a band with other talented musicians. They will also prepare for auditions, attend rehearsals, and learn new pieces of music to extend their repertoire. A musician will often teach music students in order to support their career as a performer.

What does a Musician do?

A musician’s passion is to play music. Musicians may perform as solo artists, in bands, ensembles, choirs, and orchestras either in front of live audiences or in the recording studio. A musician’s skill can include performing, singing, composing, conducting, and arranging among a wide range of genres such as alternative, blues, rock, classical, jazz, R&B,Afro-pop, highlife, reggae ,hip-hop, country, and many more. The job of a musician varies depending on the genre, circumstance, and goals of the individual. Whether it is producing albums, going on tours, or playing in local bars, the job can change at anytime. Many musicians have a second part time job to help support them in their career.......
